Why the colour scheme?
The grey means, it can be a dark, cruel and violent world, especially for the people that live in poverty in council flats. However, the Blue writing shows a positive look on the genre and how it can still be bright and happy even when living in those conditions.
Is the white writing and theme going to be limiting?
No, because there will be coloured pictures and other coloured text, and other fonts, which keep the magazine interesting and to keep it a little diverse and something new to the magazine every week.
Why did you choose the font of the logo that you did?
I chose this font for the magazine logo because it shows informality which is a lot of what grime is about and their persona. This is also mainly because, the aim of this magazine was to keep it looking informal and very easy for someone to want to read the magazine.
You have a website, app and the magazine itself, do you need the printed copy of the magazine when you have the app and website?
The website is not to publish the articles and stories that will be published in the actual magazine, this is because it will be mainly there to recruit employees and sell the magazine directly through the website. The app will have highlights of the magazine and gives the user a chance to pay to subscribe to the app on their phone meaning they get the full article and all the stories of the magazine. The magazine itself will be sold and delivered to door steps, it will have some exclusive stories and images that are unable to be seen on the app or the website, keeping the customers wanting to purchase the magazine.
Will it just be about music? or will there be other topics within the genre?
There will be posts about fashion as the grime artists have their own unique fashion sense and updating the magazine about the latest fashion trends will allow the readers and fans to keep themselves up to date as well.
How will you create that positive stigma that you want to create for the genre, using the magazine?
I will be attempting to create the positive stigma, by avoiding all the violence associated with the genre and posting about the generous things that the artists do, such as "Stormy" Giving out free pairs of shoes and free tickets to his concert to people that live in poverty and difficult times.
